Artistic Style

pixel art: pixels are the small blocks that can give characters colour or shape it's even used
 in retro games like Mario and sonic but there are also pixels also in more popular games like Overwatch for example the more pixels that you would use in one characters or object the better looking they will use this if they want to make characters more cartoonist

photo realistic is where you make objects and characters look realistic like if they were from a photo this used in games like GTA5 and Uncharted 4 they do this to immerge you into the experience of the character

Cel shading  is a type of non-photo-realistic rendering designed to make 3-D computer graphics appear to be flat by using less shading colour instead of a shade gradient or tints and shades. some cel shading games for example are the legend of zelda wind waker and Naruto

Minimalism is and art style where little art is used in games examples like limbo and PAC-man are good examples of minimalism they use like simple colours or different lighting to make the game either stand out or interest the person who's playing the game

Anime is a Japanese art used in game and cartoons one cartoon example is Pokemon and the anime examples for  games are Anima'gate of memories' and persona. anime characters in games are interesting when it comes to the expressions not just face expressions but movement expressions as well.
